should old acquaintance be…eh, forget it, I’m tired

The holiday pilgrimage back home is finally over. And it was exhausting. We did, however, see more people (including a couple we haven’t seen in YEARS!) more efficiently than ever before; partially due to a well-timed family holiday party, but mostly due to obsessive planning, organization, and spreadsheets.
Anyway, I’m very tired…the day started with the chipping of two inches of snow and ice off of the van, consisted mostly of driving I-95 accompanied by a metric ass load of gear, gifts, spouses and children, and a baby hamster.
I think my New Years Eve is going to involve turning in early. I hope everyone reading this enjoys yours.
