While doing the last of my Christmas shopping the other week (specifically, while picking up a copy of “How to Be A Domestic Goddess” by Nigella Lawson for Colleen), I ended up with a good Borders coupon.
So, today we ventured out to to the one Borders books in the Richmond area (via a roundabout route courtesy of my GPS – what else are we going to do?) to use it, and pick up some things. I’ve had my eye on a copy of Adventurer’s Vault for a couple of months now, and the coupon made the price a little more palatable.
I ended up spending a lot more on books than I expected to (though I got a nice discount from my Border’s Rewards membership), but everybody in the family got something out of the trip, and I got the store’s last copy of my book, as well as the latest Noble Dead paperback a couple of weeks before the street date!
Oh well, that’s all, really.
