An executive order from the President turned Christmas Eve into a paid holiday for federal employees this year. This is usually the case in years when Christmas falls on a Tuesday.
I’ve no qualms with an extra paid holiday. This little bit of generosity from the White House, however, has absolutely no chance of influencing me to vote Republican.
