Since it’s unlikely I’m going to have a working computer on my desk at work tomorrow morning, I’m just going to go ahead and take care of this now:

I have killed (or at least born witness to the passing of) two company laptops this year. This one simply crapped out to BSOD while I was reading a PDF, then entered a self-sustaining “reboot, fail disk check, reboot” cycle for half an hour or so until it simply decided it didn’t want to even try booting anymore. Gotta love a good hard drive crash.
I spent the entire afternoon today waiting around for the laptop pool guy who never showed. Who knows how long it’ll take tomorrow morning (unless he read my note, and just exchanged the darn thing)? I guess I’d better take a book.
