…the interview’s over; and I think it went reasonably well…I think. Who knows. I had at least one real friend on the interview panel, so there’s that, and the other two didn’t run me out, and seemed responsive in a positive manner.
What’s potentially interesting is that my competition doesn’t seem to be who I expected (several people who I thought had applied clearly indicated that they hadn’t); I’m not sure what that does for my estimation of my chances.
In any case, it’s now out of my hands; and since I’m not going to be heartbroken if I don’t get the job, the stress is over.
Unless, of course, they offer it to me.
