okay, some baby pictures too
I figured, almost immediately, after my complete geek-out over my little box of water, the rest of you would like to see a couple of baby pictures.
The kids on the couch, sitting as still as you’re usually going to get them, but you get a nice happy vibe from the photo. We liked it, so this one is what ended up on the birth announcements we’re getting ready to mail out. consider this a (higher resolution) preview.
This, my family and friends, is a rare moment. The boy, sitting calmly. Colleen set Andrew up to hang out with his new little sister the other day, and this great photo (save the slight blur on the baby) was the result.As much as he and Mary butt heads over everything, Andrew’s really very concerned about Catherine’s well-being; trying to help where he can, and always asking questions about how she’s doing. It’s kinda touching, even to someone as monumentally non-sentimental as me. Don’t worry, within a year, they’ll be beating on each other mercilessly. But for now, we’ll enjoy it.
Oh – and Mike, we would have put Catherine in her little Eagles outfit, too, but it’s way too big. Maybe it’ll fit by Super Bowl time?
