an anniversary of sorts
A good friend of mine at work was “cleaning out” her email inbox last night, and discovered and forwarded to me a message that I sent her ten years ago; a copy of the fax cover sheet for an office we once worked in that hasn’t existed in quite some time. It was, if nothing else, an interesting curiousity.
I’m not sure if I should be concerned that she hasn’t really purged her inbox in ten years, or impressed that she thinks so much of our friendship that she saves such trivial things? Or maybe I should be impressed about the first thing (and what it says about how much server space she’s been able to accumulate over the past decade) and be concerned about the second one? I’m so confused!
In any case, I think it’s cool to mark a 10+ year friendship, however weird the means.
