an explanation, and a couple of digressions
My head and creative muscles are in a somewhat different, distant place right now, between a new project phase at work, my electing to jump headlong into NaNoWriMo, and a few other things not worth mentioning. That said, posts here might be thin on the ground here for a while*. It’s not that I don’t have anything to say; I kind of want to write about NaNoWriMo, and I will, eventually; but at the moment, I’m, rightly way more focused right now on the actual writing, rather than writing about writing, right?
Uh, sorry – that’s a lot of homophones.
Anyway, if you’re wondering why I’m not dropping 3000 words about the House Health care bill, that’s why. Oh, dammit, here are 52 words: I’m glad it passed, though I’m not exactly happy with all the concessions, though if everybody’s a little upset, we’re probably on to something. I hope Harry can herd the cats in the Senate; there’s a lot of good in the bill, and I’d rather we didn’t miss out on getting it.
Okay, done. In the meantime, be well in the interim, as I curse the folks at not very talented dot com for getting Beyonce so firmly wedged in my brain.
You’re welcome.
