I have shamelessly stolen this sentiment from my friend and occasional convention co-panelist, “Doctor By Day, Novelist By Night” Darin Kennedy, though I put it in the context of this hastily created image.
It goes without saying that I agree with this sentiment. NZ has excellent, competent leadership, has basically eradicated COVID-19 from their shores through proactive measures and the cooperation of it’s citizens, and is floating progressive ideas like the four day work week.
Plus, as anyone who’s seen a Peter Jackson film can attest, it’s gorgeous.
Given what we American’s are dealing with on a daily basis, it certainly looks like something to aspire to. Think about that come November, please?
