Tonight for dinner, a couple of my co-workers and I visited Ben’s Chili Bowl, the historic greasy spoon eatery on U Street.
The chili half-smoke was amazing, and I sat at the same counter that once hosted such figures as Bill Cosby, Ella Fitzgerald, and Martin Luther King, Jr.; basking in history while eating messy, delicious food.
I promise, I’m going to eat nothing but salads for the rest of the week.
