going dark in protest

Today this site, along with thousands of others across the web, is going dark (from 8am to 8pm) to protest SOPA & PIPA, two bills currently flying through congress which will have wide-reaching consequences regarding security and freedom of expression online.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, please visit American Censorship dot Org, where you can find a wealth of information, and add your voice to those opposed to these harmful bills.
