last day of vacation
I took one more day off than the kids did; Colleen, Catherine and I had a reasonably quiet day, and did a little shopping – groceries, spending a couple of gift cards, and drinking expensive coffee while discussing metaphysics and religion. Honestly, that’s what we do.
We also upgraded our cellphones – it’s been over two years; it felt like time (Colleen also dropped her old phone one too many times and the case was a little cracked up). We’re now the proud owners of a couple of Motorola Razr V3s (pink for her, black/grey for me).
These phones have cameras in them – something I never thought I needed, but the “no camera” phones were, honestly, pretty shoddy. So, I have a camera on my phone now, which means my job will now almost certainly require me to go to the Pentagon, where cell phone cameras are verboten (I’m planning on keeping the old Samsung around, and swapping the SIMM card if I have to). Anyway, I set up a basic photo album online to show off the pictures I end up taking, which you all may access here, and over in the “fun stuff” box to your right. Take a look if you want.
