These Pipes…ARE CLEAN!!!
The work I had back in July achieved the desired result. Quite a relief. The wife says I was way too excited after the doctor’s office called this afternoon. Personally, I think throwing ones arms into the air and shouting “YATTA!” Hiro Nakamura style is a perfectly valid reaction to this news.
Life rolls on smoothly otherwise, work is work (and no news is still good news, even if said news is feeling a bit overdue…), the family seems to be holding together, though Catherine’s teething makes things somewhat difficult; thankfully, she’s exceedingly pleasant when her jaw isn’t aching.
Nothing else to report (that I feel like, or am allowed to, talk about, anyway), really. At this point, I’m content to sit here on the couch watching the kids while Colleen’s at Parent-Teacher conferences (wrangling lots of kids at these things is kind of a pain; better one of us goes and can actually engage the teacher than both of us going, and contantly breaking mid-sentence to shout at our spawn for doing something they’re not supposed to). After that, it’s out to vote in the local elections, take care of a little shopping, and settle in for the evening.
