Here’s something you don’t see very often…

…around here, anyway.
Everybody in the house has a snow day today; my office shut down for maybe the second time in 10 years; so I have a day off (and had my trip put off another day, which will get no complaint from me). All told, there’s somewhere between four and six inches out there, and a bit more is still coming down as I type this. The following is the view from the front door (as nearly always, click the image to enlarge):
Anyway, I’m enjoying the extra day at home, especially since the kids got the “OMGSNOW!!!!!!eleventy!111!” out of their system. The power stayed on (yay!), and a nice pot of chili is simmering on the stove. Happy winter, everyone.
